There was a lucky ticket sold in the Czech Republic which won the record top prize of 90 million Euros. The EuroJackpot draw was held on Friday the 15th of May 2015. This massive win beat the previous record of 61.1 million Euros in Finland.
This tremendously lucky EuroJackpot win knocked out the previous record of 61.1 million Euros by a lucky player in Finland in the year 2014. According to lottery regulations, a winner has 35 days to claim their EuroJackpot winnings. The betting company called Sazka has a spokesman by the name of Vaclav Friedmann.

Vaclav said that once the winner has been registered and their ticket checked, they will then receive their winnings in 60 days. With no taxation on Czech Republic lottery winnings, the EuroJackpot winner will receive their full winnings in Czech crowns. No taxation! Why are we not all living and playing in Czech?
The EuroJackpot lottery game was launched in the year of 2012 with only seven countries initially taking part. Since 2012, the EuroJackpot has come a long way and is continuing to grow. There are now sixteen nations playing the EuroJackpot games each week. Germany, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, Finland, Croatia, Slovenia, Norway, Latvia, Lithuania, Denmark, Estonia, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia are among the countries that play this lotto passionately. The miraculous thing is that the big win by the player coming from the Czech Republic, happened just seven months after the country began playing the EuroJackpot! Now, what are the odds of that?
This is what 90 million Euros looks like:
This popular European lottery has reached 270 million players compared to 213 million for the EuroMillions lotto. In the past there have existed complaints about the lack of huge Jackpots. Initially, the lottery had 50 main balls with five drawn, plus eight Euronumbers with two drawn out. Last year this changed, and the number of EuroNumbers has been increased to ten, but with two still being chosen for each EuroJackpot draw. This new change gives players more opportunity when it comes to rollovers because the chances of winning the top prize have risen from 1 in 59,325,280 to 1 in 95,344,200.
For the massive win on the 15th of May, the winning numbers were as follows:
12-14-18-38-46 and the two EuroNumbers of 9 and 10.
It just so happened that there were also three other tickets who managed to match the five main numbers and one of the EuroNumbers. Each of these three lucky players got to take home a sum of 7,643,520 Euros.
This incredibly massive EuroJackpot win is almost double the size of the 48 million Euros EuroMillions Jackpot won by a player from Spain last week. The winner is preferring to stay anonymous for the time being until they get their affairs in order.
Congratulations to the winner of 90 million Euros! We wish you all the best and well done for staying in the game.
If you would also like to experience profound luck like this winner did, then follow their example and stay in the game. You can’t expect to win if you don’t play.
